Protective Goggles for Motocross and ATV

Image
Protective eyewear is required when you travel offroad. Eye protection is needed to avoid splashing the mud that comes from all directions. Protective eyewear is also useful to make the vision became clearer and you can still focus in all conditions. Very useful for users of motocross and atv who often travel and adventure. Get flexibility even in extreme cold via the urethane frame construction, with the scratch resistance and optical clarity of Lexan lens material. Oakley goggles are engineered for shredding snow-capped mountains and destroying dirt tracks, with innovative frame construction and industry-best impact resistance. The flexible O-Matter frame delivers a maximized peripheral view. The triple-layer face foam and silicon lining on the inside of the strap provide a secure and stable fit on the face, and the adjustable elastic strap is easy to wear for long periods outdoors.

Kyle Chisholm took his YZ450F to third position at Paris-Bercy

Paulin’s quest for glory did not last a lap as he ran wide over the biggest jump of the course and clipped a trackside obstacle that threw him to the ground. The 20 year old was dazed but unharmed. Chisholm meanwhile took advantage of many crashes around him to move up the field and terrorise the back of MX2-GP World Champion Marvin Musquin. Motoconcepts Yamaha’s Kyle Chisholm took his YZ450F to third position on the first night of three at the popular Supercross Paris-Bercy for a decent debut at the annual event and the biggest Indoor SX meeting in Europe. The Palais Omnisports in the French capital was full to capacity for an entertaining and noisy opening evening in which Yamaha Monster Energy Motocross Team’s Gautier Paulin was able to shine on the YZ250FM in the opening half of the schedule while Chisholm was eventually able to walk away with the plaudits. The narrow and challenging course offered a lot of grip and became harder as the night wore on. Paulin was among the fastest...

Steven Frossard Career Highlights

Frossard has been one of the main protagonists in the MX2-GP series for the last three seasons and has been a regular face on the podium as one of the fastest men in the competition. Hailing from Marseille, Frossard claimed his first grand prix victory in 2010 and picked up five other trophies on his way to third in the final classification. “It is great to be joining a team like Yamaha Monster Energy MX in my first season in the MX1-GP class,” said Frossard, who expects to start riding at the end of October. “When someone like Michele Rinaldi and his crew show an interest in you then it is a big compliment because the amount of titles they have speaks for itself. I will have to learn about the bike and the secrets of racing in MX1 and I plan to work hard over the winter to do the very best I can in 2011.” The Frenchman’s potential has been eyed by Yamaha Motor Europe and YRRD Principal Michele Rinaldi and Yamaha are pleased to welcome the rider into MX1-GP with the best equipment an...

YZ 450F 4-stroke Liquid Cooled Motocross

Image
The YZ450F features a revolutionary fuel injected, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, 4-valve, DOHC, rearward-slanting single cylinder engine and an advanced Bilateral Beam aluminium frame with components distributed for a perfect mass-centralisation and class-leading handling. Unique engine design features a rearward slanting cylinder that is "reversed" compared to traditional designs. The FI throttle body and air box are front mounted while the exhaust exits from the rear of the cylinder. This design is used to centralize mass for excellent handling and a light feel. The other major benefit is the straight shot intake system which maximizes power output. The engine is slanted 7.5 degrees rearward. The "reversed" design allows for a straight intake path into the cylinder, providing maximum intake flow and efficiency for excellent power. The front positioned intake means that engine heat will have less "heating effect" on the incoming fuel charge (cooler fuel help...
